Tenders Are Invited For: Reconstruction of the retaining wall and staircase between Školní and Žižkový nám., Chrudim
Brief description of the subject:
This involves the repair and static securing of the existing sandstone retaining wall, which ensures the stability of the slope above Široký schody. Furthermore, it involves the static securing of the upper existing brick retaining wall, which is located above the sandstone wall.
The existing lower sandstone wall will be dismantled in parts and rebuilt. It will be statically secured by a rear reinforced concrete retaining wall, to which it will be anchored, and which will be located behind this sandstone wall.
The upper brick wall will be reinforced with four reinforced concrete pillars and two beams, on which a lining of poured concrete blocks will be made. This pre-mounted structure will be provided with lime-cement plaster and the entire structure of the existing and new wall will be covered with sandstone slabs, into which a new fence is anchored. The work also includes the renovation of the sandstone column. The entire construction was continuously consulted with representatives of the heritage protection, given that the wall is located in a protected area.
