Prior Notice: Landquart station expansion, phase b - "a station" lot. The expansion of Landquart station phase b is a joint project of RHB and SBB. It includes the modernization of the entire passenger station, especially for travelers with reduced mobility. The centerpiece of the project is the shared central platform for comfortable and time-saving transfers between the trains of RHB and SBB. With the shared platform, an additional track with a platform can be realized for both railways. This forms the foundation for the desired half-hourly service. The project is divided into preliminary work and main work. The main work with the lots "station", "track", "art structures I" will be published during the year 2026. The publication of the remaining lots "platform roofs" and "art structures II" is planned for the years 2027 and 2029 respectively.
The following services are the subject of the lot "a station":
- Maintenance and caretaker function of the installation areas taken over from the preliminary work lots.
- Construction of the new northern pedestrian underpass. The new pedestrian underpass will be constructed partly in stages in cast-in-place concrete and partly using prefabricated concrete elements that are then inserted, including safety measures at the existing northern PU and staged excavation safety.
- Construction of a new ramp and staircase at the existing southern pedestrian underpass in cast-in-place concrete, including adjustments to the existing parapets using HDW removal and cast-in-place concrete additions.
- Remediation of pollutants and demolition of the existing reception building AG01.
- Reconstruction of the platform facilities including the foundation of the new platform roofs.
- Construction of track substructure in the station area including track drainage.
- Construction of overhead line and signal foundations.
- Construction of cable crossings (prefabricated and cast-in-place), cable shafts, and cable ducting (pipe blocks and channels).
- Operation of the necessary railway logistics for the construction services.
- (Partial) dismantling of existing infrastructures (paved areas, candelabra foundations, others).
- Utility construction (fresh and wastewater, electrical cable pipe blocks, etc.).
- Various ancillary works.
