Tender description : Tenders Are Invited for Consulting for the Communication Strategy of the Ibero-american Alliance 500+ Call for applications from February 12 to March 6, 2026 CAF invites individuals or organizations to submit proposals to design the visual identity and communication strategy for the Ibero-American 500+ Alliance, as well as to coordinate its official launch event. The consultancy will last 5 months and has a maximum budget of USD 15,000. Proposals may be submitted until March 6, 2026. CAF – the development bank of Latin America and the Caribbean – invites individuals or legal entities (with a work team) to submit proposals for the consultancy to develop the communication, dissemination and positioning strategy of the Ibero-America 500+ Alliance, as well as the organization of the official launch event. This consultancy is part of the Technical Cooperation “Support for the Alliance of Ibero-American Cities 500+”, aimed at strengthening the governance, articulation and international projection of this regional initiative. Context The Iberoamerica 500+ Alliance emerges as a space for cooperation between cities that will celebrate their 500th anniversary by 2050, with the aim of articulating agendas for sustainable urban development, shared cultural identity, and territorial innovation. In 2025, as part of the commemoration of Santa Marta's 500th anniversary, CAF and the Ibero-American General Secretariat (SEGIB) formalized this initiative through the Santa Marta Declaration. The Alliance seeks to consolidate a mechanism for collaboration among Ibero-American cities to promote strategic projects, strengthen subnational capacities, and link heritage, sustainability, and social inclusion. To support its launch, CAF requires hiring a specialized consultancy to design its visual identity, communication strategy, and coordinate the official launch event. Objective of the consultancy Develop the communication, dissemination and positioning strategy for the Ibero-American 500+ Alliance, including: Graphic identity design. Definition of institutional narrative and key messages. Digital content production. Website and social media development. Organization and coordination of the official launch event (hybrid format). Main activities The consultancy must: Prepare a work plan and schedule. Design visual identity (logo, color palette, typography, guidelines). Define communication tone and institutional narrative. Plan and coordinate the hybrid launch event. Facilitate validation sessions with participating cities. Prepare a report and official account of the event. Design and publish digital content. Coordinate dissemination on web platforms and social networks. Expected products Product 1 (10 days after the contract is signed): Work plan and schedule. Product 2 (Month 2): Graphic identity and communication tone. Product 3 (Month 4): Launch event report and report. Product 4 (Month 5): Website and social media with institutional content. Deadline and budget Duration: 5 calendar months. Maximum budget: USD 15,000. Payments will be made upon delivery and approval of products by CAF Required profile Individuals or legal entities with at least 10 years of experience in the following areas may apply: Design of institutional communication strategies. Graphic identity development. Organization of in-person, virtual or hybrid events. Website creation and social media management. I work with subnational governments, international cooperation agencies, or multilateral entities. Experience in regional projects in Latin America and/or Ibero-America. Minimum equipment required Project Coordinator / Senior Communication Specialist. Visual Identity Designer. Event Coordinator. Evaluation criteria The proposals will be evaluated considering: Experience of the firm or consultant. Profile of the proposed team. Technical proposal (methodology, diagnosis, positioning strategy, event organization and development of communication products).
