1. New Object (Additive)
In order to maintain certain buildings, streets and green spaces in the Commune of Ayos in a state of cleanliness, the Mayor of the Commune of Ayos, Project Owner, is launching on behalf of the Republic of Cameroon an Open National Call for Tenders for the execution of the above-mentioned operation.
2. Consistency of New (Additive) Benefits
The services covered by this Invitation to Tender consist of the maintenance of certain public spaces in the Municipality of Ayos. These include:
? Maintenance of the Town Hall grounds (Mayor's offices, Municipal Revenue Office, Community Center, green spaces, etc.);
? Maintenance of the market square and parade square;
? Street maintenance (street sweeping, gutter cleaning, and clearing of vegetation along roadsides);
? Collection of household waste and its transport to a designated public landfill;
? Provision of small equipment necessary for street maintenance and household waste collection (tricycles, sprayers, and herbicides).
The details of the tasks to be performed are listed in the following table:

Vacuum carpets once a day
Clean and shampoo carpets and rugs once a week
Dust desks, tables, sofas, armchairs, chairs, telephones, computer equipment, and office lamps once a day
Dust ceilings, walls, and curtains once a month
Wipe windows, mirrors, and light fixtures once a week
Remove cobwebs once a week
Clean storage furniture once a day
Clean the exterior facades of the buildings once a month
Disinfect door handles with rubbing alcohol once a day
Clean and disinfect toilet and sink bowls once a day.
Maintain tiled surfaces once a week.
Polish faucets once a week.
Descale toilet bowls once a month.
Empty garbage cans and take waste to the public dump once a day.
Disinfect garbage cans once a week.
Provide toilet paper and refill handwashing soap dispensers once a week.
2. Wooded areas, grassy areas, bare, concrete, or asphalted areas: Sweep and collect paper, dead leaves, and other debris once a day.
Water lawns, flowers, and shrubs during the dry season once a day.
Mow grassy areas once a month.
Weed non-grassy areas once a month.
Pull weeds from grassy areas and between flowers once a month.
Rake, collect, and remove debris from grass and tree cutting once a month.
Prune trees, shrubs, and hedges for regeneration once a month.
Sweep bare ground and paved or asphalted common areas once a day.
Remove standing water around buildings during the rainy season once a week.
Clean gutters during the rainy season once a month.
Maintain the market square and parade ground.
3. Sheds and grandstands: Sweep floors, bleachers, and aisles of the sheds once a day.
Sweep and water, if necessary, the market entrances and corridors, as well as the courtyards and storefronts once a day.
Dust ceilings and walls once a month.
Remove cobwebs once a week.
Clean the railings around the grandstand once a week.
Empty the garbage cans and dispose of the waste at Public landfill 1 time/day
Street maintenance (street sweeping, gutter cleaning and brush clearing)
4. Roadways, sidewalks, parking lots, wooded areas, grassy areas and bare land Sweep streets (parking lots, sidewalks and roadways if necessary) 1 time/week
Collect paper, dead leaves and other debris in green spaces 1 time/day
Water lawns, flowers and shrubs in green spaces during the dry season 1 time/day
Mow grassy areas 1 time/month
