Invitation to Bid Bid for Icb 4: Leo Bradley Restoration Project
invitation to Bid – Works
the Government of Belize (gobz) Has Received Financing From the Caribbean Development Bank (cdb) in An Amount Equivalent to Thirty-five Million United States Dollars (usd35m) Towards the Cost of the Belize Education Secondary Reform Programme Ii (besrpii) (the Project) and Intends to Apply a Portion of the Proceeds of This Financing to Eligible Payments Under This Contract. Payment By Cdb Will Be Made Only at the Request of Gobz and Upon Approval By Cdb, and Will Be Subject, in All Respects, to the Terms and Conditions of the Financing Agreement. the Financing Agreement Prohibits Withdrawal From the Financing Account for the Purpose of Any Payment to Persons Or Entities, Or for Any Import of Goods, If Such Payment Or Import, to the Knowledge of Cdb, is Prohibited By a Decision of the United Nations Security Council Taken Under Chapter Vii of the Charter of the United Nations. No Party Other Than Gobz Shall Derive Any Rights From the Financing Agreement Or Have Any Claim to the Proceeds of the Financing.
the Project is Being Implemented By the Ministry of Education, Culture, Science and Technology (moecst) Through Its Project Execution Unit (peu). the Moecst Has Contracted Consultants Who Will Assist the Gobz with Delivering the Project. the Consultants Have Prepared Designs and Contract Documentation and Will Assist in Tender Administration and Evaluation as Well as Supervise Project Activities.
Gobz Now Invites Sealed Bids From Eligible and Qualified Bidders for Besrpii Icb 4: Leo Bradley Restoration Project. the Proposed Works Include, But Are Not Limited to, the Following:
the Scope of the Project Includes the Replacement of the Front Fence of the Facility, the Surfacing and Upgrade of the Parking Area, Construction of Additions to the Building to Include More Space as Well as An Elevator, the Replacement of the Electrical System, the Installation of a New Air Conditioning System, Sealing of the Envelope and Refinishing of the Exterior and Interior of the Building.
the Bidding Process is Conducted According to the Procedures Specified in the Procurement Procedures for Projects Financed By Cdb (november 2019) as Published on Cdb’s Website and is Open to All Bidders From Eligible Countries.
