Tender Are Invited For develop and implement a comprehensive communications and awareness
campaign and training program to engage relevant stakeholders in the
development and implementation of a Multi-sectoral National Adaptation
Plan for Belize
Enabling Activities for the Formulation and Implementation of a
Multisectoral National Adaptation Plan for Belize Project
3. Specific Objective
The consultancy aims to support the NCCO, Ministry of Sustainable Development, Climate Change and Solid Waste Management (MSD), in developing and implementing a gender-responsive, child-friendly, socially inclusive, and transparent communications and training strategy. The strategy must incorporate multimedia content creation, targeted messaging, digital communication, and collaborative approaches with the media and relevant communication officers of the MSD, and the 5 priority sectors of the MNAP Project. The specific objectives of this consultancy include the following:

• Promote national awareness and stakeholder ownership of the MNAP process.
• Ensure integration of adaptation priorities into sectoral plans and strategies across the five
priority sectors.
• Strengthen capacities for climate adaptation planning, financing, implementation, and monitoring
at national and sub-national levels.
• Facilitate continuous knowledge sharing, feedback, and learning among stakeholders etc.
