Tenders Are Invited for Development of Broadcasting Reform Consultation Documentthis Request for Proposals (the “rfp) is An Invitation By the Government of Bermuda (the “government) to Prospective Proponents to Submit Proposals for Thedevelopment of Broadcasting Reform Consultation Document,as Further Described in Section a of the Rfp Particulars (appendix D) (the “deliverables). in 2013, Squire and Patton Produced the Initial Iteration of the Broadcasting Reform Document.? Building Upon This Foundation, the Department of Energy Subsequently Developed a Second Iteration, Which Expanded the Framework to Include Provisions for Political Broadcasting and Provided Greater Clarity on the Principle of Convergence, First Introduced in the Original Draft. the Department of Energy Now Seeks to Engage a Qualified Consultant to Review the Second Iteration in Conjunction with Relevant Broadcasting and Media Policy Documents From Comparable Jurisdictions.? the Objective of This Engagement is to Obtain Expert Analysis and Recommendations to Support the Finalization of Bermudas Broadcasting Reform Policy, Ensuring That It Reflects International Best Practices While Remaining Responsive to Bermudas Unique Regulatory and Cultural Context.
