Tenders Are Invited for Translation Transcription Service From Myanmar Into English
The International Legal Foundation (ILF) is the leading global advocate for the right to counsel for people who cannot afford lawyers, and is a specialist in the provision of quality defense services to marginalized and vulnerable accused. Established in 2001 in New York as a nonprofit organization, the ILF established its Myanmar branch in 2017 with the goal to provide quality legal aid services to accused in need, and to aid the government of Myanmar to establish a legal aid system that is accessible, effective, sustainable, and credible. The ILF prides itself on its data-driven approach to improving legal aid delivery. The local offices collect a wide range of data on each case and regularly use analytics and statistics to measure the impact of the work.
Requirement
We seek the services of a translation-transcription service for one of our research assignments. We welcome independent consultants or agencies to undertake the translation transcription service of audio files from Myanmar into English. Individual consultants or agencies must have experience providing transcription-translation services to academic, research, and national institutes. Consultants and agencies with experience in the social and legal sectors will be given preference.
Scope of work
The primary goal of this project is to produce accurate and high-quality English translations of Burmese-language audio recordings. The contractor is responsible for carefully listening to each audio file and translating the spoken content into clear, precise, and contextually accurate English text.
The contractor must also strictly adhere to data security and confidentiality guidelines throughout the project. All audio files, transcripts, and translated materials must be handled with the highest level of discretion, ensuring that no data is shared, stored, or distributed beyond authorized project personnel. The contractor will be required to sign a Non- Disclosure Agreement (NDA)
