Expression of interest for Technical-economic and Environmental Feasibility Studies, and Control and Monitoring of the Works of the Two (02) High-volume, Multiple-use Drillings
The Malagasy Government has received financing from the African Development Bank Group to cover the cost of the Integrated Agro-Industrial Growth Pole Project in the South (PICAS-1), and intends to use a portion of the proceeds from this loan to finance a consulting firm's service contract for: technical, economic, and environmental feasibility studies, and the monitoring and supervision of the work on two (02) high-capacity, multi-purpose boreholes in the Androy region, as part of the PICAS-1 project on two (02) plains: Iambaro, Antaritarika Regional Council, Tsihombe district; and Bekatapaka, Bekitro Regional Council, Bekily district (Preliminary Design, Final Design, and Bid). 2. The services provided under the contract include the finalization of the Preliminary Design (PD) and Detailed Design (DDP) technical studies, the preparation of the Call for Tenders (CTT), and the supervision and monitoring of construction works.
The contract is estimated to last eight and a half (8.5) months, including two and a half (2.5) months for the Preliminary Design/PD and CTT preparation phases and six (6) months for the construction supervision and monitoring phase. The start of services is scheduled for the period from April 2026 to January 2027. The mission will take place in the rural commune of Antaritarika and the rural commune of Bekitro in the Androy Region.
3. The PICAS-I Project Implementation Unit invites Consultants to submit their applications to provide the services described above. Interested consultants must provide
information on their capabilities and experience, demonstrating that they are qualified to provide the services.
Expression of interest files must include the following documents: (i) a letter of
expression of interest addressed to the Project Coordinator with a presentation of the
