Pre-Qualification of Bilaj al jazayer independent power project (baj solar ipp)
The electricity and water authority (ewa) of the kingdom of bahrain intends to issue an international tender for the development of the bilaj al jazayer independent power project (baj solar ipp), a utility-scale photovoltaic (pv) facility to be developed under a public-private partnership (ppp) on a build-own-operate (boo) basis. the project supports bahrain’s national target of achieving 20% renewable energy by 2035.
