The Bermuda Department of Corrections (DOC) sits under the Government's Ministry of Justice
and is tasked with maintaining secure and humane correction facilities in accordance with
international standards.
With the growing prison population, evolving correctional standards, and aging infrastructure, the
Government of Bermuda seeks to undertake a comprehensive review of its correction facilities
