Tenders Are Invited for Upgrading to Bituminous Standard of 105km of the Mwinilunga to Jimbe Road (t5) Lot 1, Lot 2 Both in North Western Province
the Road Development Agency Intends to Prequalify Contractors for Upgrading to Bituminous Standard of 105km of the Mwinilunga to Jimbe Road (t5) in North Western Province (lot 1 and 2). the Project Road is Located in the North Western Province of Zambia. It Starts in Mwinilunga and Ends at Jimbe Border Post. the Scope of Works Mainly Comprises of Upgrading to Bituminous Standard with Minor Modifications of the Alignment Geometry, Where the New Road Centreline (horizontal Alignment) in General Follows the Existing Road Centreline and, with the Exception of a Few Sections/locations Where Improvements Are Required, the Vertical Alignment is Raised Above the Existing Road Level to Accommodate the New Pavement Thickness. the Works Will Include the Construction of 85,000m3 Crushed Stone Base and 880,000m2 of 50mm Asphalt Wearing Course.
