Tender description : Request for Expressions of Interest Consultancy Services - Development of District Specific Community Continuing Education Programmes to Enhance the Skills of Residents request for Expressions of Interest - Firms the Government of Suriname (gos) Has Received Financing From the Caribbean Development Bank (cdb) in An Amount Equivalent to Us$21.94 Mn Towards the Cost of the Enhancement of the Technical and Vocational Education and Training at the Lower Secondary Level in Suriname (etvet) Project and Intends to Apply a Portion of the Proceeds of This Financing to Eligible Payments Under a Contract for Which This Invitation is Issued. Payments By Cdb Will Be Made Only at the Request of Gos and Upon Approval By Cdb and Will Be Subject in All Respects to the Terms and Conditions of the Loan Agreement. the Financing Agreement Prohibits Withdrawal From the Financing Account for the Purpose of Any Payment to Persons Or Entities, Or for Any Import of Goods, If Such Payment Or Import, to the Knowledge of Cdb, is Prohibited By a Decision of the United Nations Security Council Taken Under Chapter Vii of the Charter of the United Nations. No Party Other Than Gos Shall Derive Any Rights From the Loan Agreement Or Have Any Claim to the Proceeds of the Loan. the Executing Agency of the Ministry of Education, Science and Culture (moesc) Now Wishes to Procure Consultancy Services for the Development of District Specific Community Continuing Education Programmes to Enhance the Skills of Residents. the Objective of This Consultancy is to Develop Programmes That Provide Appropriate Literacy, Numeracy, Technical and Vocational Skills to Students and Out-of-school Men and Women Residing in Remote Communities at the Levels Required By Them to Enhance Their Occupational and Social Functions in Their Communities. the Duration of the Assignment is Expected to Be 120 Person Days Over a Period of Six Months. the Consultancy Firm Should Have: a Minimum of Five (5) Years of Proven Experience in Educational Planning, Curriculum Development, and Program Implementation, Particularly in Community-based Education and Skills Development. Demonstrated Expertise in Designing Community Continuing Education Programs for Out-of-school Youth and Adult Learners with a Focus on Literacy, Numeracy, Technical, Vocational, and Life Skills Training. at Least Five (5) Comparable Projects Completed Within the Past Five Years. Proven Ability to Design and Execute M&e Frameworks That Effectively Measure the Impact of Educational Programs. at Least Five (5) Comparable Projects Completed Within the Past Five Years. at Least Five Years of Work Experience in the Caribbean Or in Countries with Similar Socio-economic and Cultural Contexts is Preferred as Well as the Demonstrated Ability to Assess and Address Challenges Unique to Remote Communities, with Tangible Examples of How These Challenges Were Successfully Navigated in Past Projects. at Least Five Years of Experience in Capacity Building for Local Institutions, Educators, and Government Agencies in Tvet and Adult Education. at Least Five Years of Experience in Managing Education Or Training Projects with Multiple Stakeholders, Ensuring Alignment with Project Goals, Timelines, and Budgets. a Qualified Team Consisting of at Least One Or More Education Specialists, Curriculum Developers, and M&e Experts. the Executing Agency Now Invites Interested Eligible Consultancy Firms to Submit Expressions of Interest Indicating Qualifications and Experience Required to Provide These Consultancy Services.
