The objective of the assignment:
The overall objective of this assignment is to undertake a study to review existing CoEs and propose one CoE to be strengthened or propose a network/the architecture of the Regional Center of Excellence on Climate Smart Agriculture.
2.The specific objectives of the assignment are:
To review the status of existing centers of Excellence in the region and in other parts of the continent (FSRP countries/regions) in the specific areas of policy engagement for Climate Smart Agriculture
Document lessons learned in establishing/running relevant Regional Centre of Excellence in the IGAD region and in other parts of the continent (FSRP countries/regions)
Identify challenges to RCoE working in Climate Smart Agriculture policies
Propose an architecture for a regional CoE on Climate Smart Agriculture in IGAD region
Develop a business model for IGAD to support RCoE
