Tender Are Invited For UNLEASHING THE BLUE ECONOMY OF THE CARIBBEAN (UBEC) PROJECT
1. The Government of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines has received financing from the World
Bank (International Development Association) toward the cost of the Unleashing the Blue
Economy of the Caribbean (UBEC) Project and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward
payments under the contract(s) for the Purchase of Four (4) Compactor Trucks and One (1)
Tipper Truck.
2. The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation and Sustainable Development, through the UBEC
Project Implementation Unit (PIU) and in collaboration with the Central Water and Sewerage
Authority (CWSA), now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for:
• Lot 1: Four (4) rear-loading refuse compactor trucks, 6.8 to 7.4 m³ compactor body, 4x2,
right-hand drive, diesel. • Lot 2: One (1) tipper truck, 15 yd³ body, 4x2, right-hand drive, diesel.
7. Bids may be submitted in hard copy or electronically and must be delivered to address (B)
below on or before 1:00 p.m. (local time, AST) on, 3 December 2026. Electronic Bids must
be sent to procurement@gov.vc as password-protected PDF files; the password must be sent
to the same address within thirty (30) minutes after the submission deadline. Late Bids will
be rejected.
8. Bids will be opened at 2:00 p.m. (local time) on, 3 December 2026.
9. A Bid Security of US$15, 000 for Lot 1 and US$2, 500 for Lot 2, or the equivalent in a freely
convertible currency. Bids shall remain valid until 2 April 202
