Expressions of interest : Technical Assistant to Support Fodip in the Development of Fundraising Tools, the Drafting of Terms of Reference, and Related Tools.
The Guinean Government has obtained a loan from the African Development Bank Group (AfDB) of UA 10.64 million to finance the implementation of the Project to Support Industrial Development and the Resilience of Small and Medium Enterprises (PADIRPME), and intends to use part of the funds granted under this loan to finance the services contract of an Individual Technical Assistant Consultant to assist the FODIP in developing fundraising tools, terms of reference, and related tools.
2. The overall objective of PADIRPME is to strengthen the capacities for steering and operational implementation of Guinean industrial policy. Specifically, the project will support:
i) improving the capacities for planning, coordinating, and monitoring industrial development,
ii) strengthening the supply of services, and
iii) strengthening the demand side. The project should enable Guinea to fully participate in the implementation of the actions necessary to achieve its industrial ambitions.
3. The services expected under this agreement are: (i) to conduct a diagnostic assessment of the opportunities and obstacles to fundraising for the FODIP (Industrial Development Fund), in support of industries and SMEs, and particularly the promotion of women's entrepreneurship in the green industry and innovative technologies sector; (ii) to map potential donors and funding opportunities related to the development of industry and SMEs, especially the green industry; (iii) to propose fundraising mechanisms for the FODIP and a list of innovative funding sources adapted to the needs of green industries, SMEs,
the General Objective of the Padirpme is To: Strengthen the Management and Operational Implementation Capacities of Guineas Industrial Policy. Specifically, the Project Will Support: I) the Improvement of Planning, Coordination, and Monitoring Capacities for Industrial Development, Ii) the Strengthening of the Service Supply, and Iii) the Strengthening of the Demand Side. the Project Should Enable Guinea to Fully Engage in the Implementation of the Necessary Actions to Achieve Its Industrial Ambition.
