Tender Are Invited For Purchase and installation of disinfection equipment and provision of technical assistance for operation and management of the equipment
1. This Invitation for Bids follows the General Procurement Notice for this Project that appeared in
Inter-American Development Bank of BL-L1045-P00001 of June 9, 2025
2. The Government of Belize has received a financing from the Inter-American Development Bank
toward the cost of Water and Sanitation Program for Rural Areas, and it intends to apply part of
the proceeds of this financing to payments under the Contract for Purchase and installation of
disinfection equipment and provision of technical assistance for operation and management
of the equipment
3. The Belize Social Investment Fund now invites sealed bids from eligible and qualified bidders
for Purchase and installation of disinfection equipment and provision of technical assistance
for operation and management of the equipment. The delivery period is 200 days
4. The Request for Bids (RfB) will be conducted through the International Competitive Bidding
(ICB) procedures specified in the Inter-American Development Bank’s Policies for the
Procurement of Goods and Works financed by the Inter-American Development Bank GN2349-15 approved by the Board of Executive Directors of the Bank in May 2019, and effective
in January 2020, and is open to all bidders from Eligible Source Countries as defined in the
bidding document.
A complete set of the bidding document in English may be purchased by interested bidders on
the submission of a written application to the address below and upon payment of a nonrefundable fee of BZD $50.00 ($25.00 USD) method of payment will by cash deposited to, or
Bank transfer to the Social Investment Fund’s bank account only. A request for the Social
Investment Fund’s banking details can be made at the address below. The Social Investment
Fund is not accepting cash payment currently. The bidding document will be sent by email.
