The United States of America, acting through the Millennium Challenge Corporation (“MCC”) and the Government of Benin (the “Government”) have entered, on December 14, 2022, into a grant agreement (« Compact ») to support regional economic integration. The Compact, covers an amount of two hundred two million (US$202,000,000) US Dollars (« MCC Funds »), as well as a contribution from the Government of Benin of eighty-eight million eight hundred eighteen thousand four hundred five (US$88,818,405) US Dollars, aiming at reducing poverty through economic growth in Benin.
The Government has designated MCA-Benin Regional to implement the Government’s responsibilities under the Compact and intends to apply part of the funds to payments for contracts for Goods, Works and Services.
The procurement program for the twelve (12) months period from July 1st, 2026, to June 30th, 2027, will include the following:
