Request for Expression of Interest: Consultancy to prepare the comparative assessment report on the impact of the new labour force survey instrument on key labour market indicators
Scope of Services
The Consultant will work under the supervision of the Director of Statistics and in close collaboration with the OECS DDM Project Implementation Unit.
The assignment will include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Review the previous and revised Labour Force Survey instruments and methodologies;
• Assess changes in concepts, definitions, classifications, questionnaire design, and survey implementation procedures;
• Analyze the impact of the revised instrument on key labour market indicators, including employment, unemployment, labour force participation, underemployment, and related measures;
• Evaluate the comparability of historical labour market series and identify any methodological breaks;
• Prepare recommendations regarding the interpretation, presentation, and dissemination of labour market statistics under the revised survey framework;
• Present findings to the CSO and key stakeholders;
• Facilitate a knowledge-sharing session to support understanding and application of the assessment findings.
